Eugenia Astor is a contemporary artist based in Lugano, Switzerland. Her work bridges expressive abstraction and delicate realism, exploring color, emotion, and the quiet beauty of nature. With a BA in Tourism Management and training in Interior Design at KLC School of Design in London, she has also studied floristry, architecture, calligraphy, and watercolour painting.
Beginning with glass and abstract acrylics, Eugenia now focuses on watercolour and colored pencil, drawn to vivid colours and the intricate structure of flowers. She strives to create art that awakens a sense of warmth and serenity, inviting the viewer to pause and connect with beauty in its quietest forms.

Inspired by Georges Seurat’s pointillist technique and the contemporary spot paintings of Damien Hirst, this work captures the luminous beauty of Lake Lugano in springtime. Through a rhythmic play of invigorating greens and misty blues, the work evokes the freshness of new leaves and the tranquil haze of the surrounding mountains.
